Aglio e Olio
Here is a delicious and simple recipe for those crazy days when you need something quick and you know you have all the ingredients in the kitchen. My family loves this recipe. Who doesn't love pasta, garlic, olive oil and Parmesan? I love an Alborino or Savignon Blanc with this recipe. Cheers!
1 Lb. spaghetti pasta.
4 garlic cloves chopped.
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil.
1/4 tsp. salt and ground pepper.
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
Red pepper flakes optional.
Cook pasta to package directions.
In a large saute pan, add olive oil and chopped garlic. Saute for 3-4 minutes on medium high heat. Do not let garlic burn.
Drain pasta and add to saute pan with garlic and olive oil. Add salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Combine well. Turn off heat and mix in Parmesan cheese. Serve with extra grated cheese.
