Cucumber and Dill Salad

 Cucumber and Dill Salad


2 large english cucumbers, thinly sliced

1/2 medium red onion,  thinly sliced

2 tbsp freshly chopped dill

1/3 cup white wine vinegar

3 tbsp water

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper


In a large mixing bowl, add sliced cucumbers, onions, chopped dill, salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, combine vinegar water and sugar.  Whisk until sugar has completely dissolved.  

Pour mixture over the cucumber mixture and gently mix to combine.  Allow the mixture to sit in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving. Keep chilled.
