Strawberry and Blueberry Spritzer

 

Strawberry and Blueberry Wine Spritzer

1 cup simple syrup

1 bottle dry white wine. 

Sparkling water or club soda

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, cut in half

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Simple Syrup recipe:

1 part sugar

1 part water

Bring to a boil on the stove until all the sugar has dissolved.  Cool.

Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice. Add half of the strawberries and blueberries to the pitcher.  Pour in 1 cup of the simple syrup and wine until the pitcher is 3/4 of the way full.

Top off with sparkling water or club soda.

Garnish each glass with additional strawberries and blueberries.
