Wedge Salad (Christmas Wreath)


2 heads of iceberg lettuce, sliced into wedges

10 oz. cherry tomatoes, sliced

10 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped

4 tablespoon chives

8 oz. container of crumbled blue cheese, divided 


Dressing:

3 oz. of the crumbled blue cheese

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon lemon juice

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper



To make the dressing, add all the ingredients to a mason jar or a bowl.  Shake or whisk until smooth.  Refrigerate until ready to use.


Cut each head of iceberg lettuce into 4-6 slices. Arrange wedges in a circle on a platter.  


Drizzle each wedge with some of the blue cheese dressing and evenly top with some cherry tomatoes, chopped bacon, chives and blue cheese crumbles. Serve immediately.
